The Arrival by Shaun Tan is surreal take on the experience of an immigrant. The comic features vast environments with mythical creatures that do well to show what it is like migrating to a foreign country. The graphic novel is wordless, yet it conveys a story through sequences of images that illustrate certain emotions, situations, and reactions.
